The class lasts only 25 minutes, however we encourage you to arrive 10 minutes before to prepare or change into the suit. For your first time we encourage to arrive 20 minutes before so you have time for a short explanation of our method and what to expect. Expected your first visit to last about 50 minute.

Almost anyone can use EMS training, but if you have a health condition that prevents you from participating in conventional sports, we encourage you to consult with your doctor. Unfortunately people with a heart pacemaker, circulatory disorder, pregnant or have any metal in their body are not eligible for EMS training.

EMS training is no more strenuous than a conventional workout. By the end of the session you will need a rest and a drink of water, depending on the intensity of your workout. The equipment uses low impulse frequency, the experience of receiving the impulses may take a little getting used to, but it is not painful in any way.
Each class will be directed by a certified IMPULSE EMS trainer, by performing exercises such as plank, squats and yoga / pilates type movements. Depending on your goals you will be guided through a specific routine (you don’t have to worry about being able to do it all the movements perfectly, everyone works according to their own capacity). Our technology enhances every movement, dramatically improving the efficiency of the exercise routine.
The minimum age for using EMS is 18, there is no upper age limit, however our majority of members range from 20-65. We offer a flexibility improvement class which is usually the go - to class for our seniors members.
You will feel the muscles working within the first 24 hours, our members usually reports visible results within the first 6-8 sessions . Results largely depend on eating and nutrition habits outside the studio and will vary depending on body weight, fat % and other health related issues.

IMPULSE Body Fitness is amongst the only EMS studios that have the ability to sell the suits to each member, we also offer rental in-studio suits, which are washed, cleaned and replaced regularly, our suits are manufactured with a special anti-bacterial fabric for better hygiene.
Sure, you will se faster results if you do active cardio on the IMPULSE off-days, this means you will literally save yourself hours per week by combining both work-outs.
We recommend a max of 3 high impact classes per week, after each class it usually takes around 36-48 hours for your body to fully recover. Soon we will introduce Recovery classes, which you could alternate for a total max of 5 classes per week.
We provide most of what you will need, you are welcome to bring a bottle of water.
